The book is to commemorate the bicentennial of the War of 1812, a conflict between the USA and Canada. It took 5 years to complete the project, and the in depth close-up of the reenactments were possible because Cosmo Condina was embedded as a re-enactor. The book was accepted into the Library of Congress, in Washington, D.C.
